The Monroe Woodbury (MW) Garden Club is a community of gardening enthusiasts sharing tips and advice on gardening, landscaping, garden planning, nature study, and conservation of our natural resources. The Club was established in 1971 by Lucille Burkhardt. We have over 40 members who have diverse backgrounds in gardening from beginner to expert.
Through the years, the Garden Club members have contributed their hard work and expertise to numerous beautification projects within the Monroe and Woodbury communities. The Club also lends it support to the Orange County Arboretum through volunteering in the greenhouse, planting their floral grounds/beds, and volunteering at their spectacular “Lights in Bloom” in December. Meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month, 7:30 pm at the Central Valley United Methodist Church, 12 Smith Clove Road, Central Valley, NY. |
